My freshwater holding tank had a crack so I decided to go to Colonial Airstream and have them replace it for me (luckily covered under extended warranty).  I also had a few things I had planned to take care of myself but instead asked them to do it for me while our Airstream was there.  Check out what and how they did…

I have been looking at this Milwaukee M12 tool for several months and then I received it as a Christmas gift this past year.  This pump works great and is a perfect addition to your RV setup or even just to your garage.

I have the 55 quart and the 77 quart models already but wanted something smaller for day trips and such.  My wife bought this 28 quart as a Christmas present and she could not have made a better decision.

I removed my Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite bed cover with the personal caddy to install the Leitner rack so I lost all of the protected bed storage I was used to so I had to find a alternative. I have seen the Decked product in various places online over the last couple years and wanted to be able to use someday – well someday has come and now you can see what I am talking about!

We had a complete power system upgrade a couple years back and I never posted any of the details.  Lew Farber from SolarTech Energy Systems did the install at his shop in Naples, Florida.  We were very very happy with his quality of work and would highly recommend him. He is also a very nice guy.

Other than the obvious there are two added benefits we now have since Lew completed the installation.  By moving the batteries into the trailer and closer to the axles we have less tongue weight and I now do not have separate AC and DC outlets. 

SOLAR
• 4 SP-100 solar panel kits
• 1 Signature Victron 30/MPPT/6 controller core with Bluetooth monitoring and battery monitor

INVERTER/CHARGER
• 1 Magnum MS-2012 2000 watt sine wave inverter
• 1 Magnum ME-RC remote

• 1 inverter disconnect switch, 300 amp
• 1 50 amp 12VDC disconnect breaker
• 1 30 amp 120VAC/12VDC power center

BATTERIES
• 2 Lifeline GPL-4CT 300 amp/hour 6VDC AGM batteries
• 1 300 amp battery disconnect switch

There are a few other things I had him do while he had everything torn apart – two 12v fridge fans, his WeBoost 4G-X high gain cell boost package, and he added the Winegard Rayzar antenna.

I broke my folding camping table so I had to find something else to put my Weber Q1000 grill on – this stand works perfectly AND fits in the outdoor storage compartment on my Airstream.
